CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Customer Relations Coordinator:
FT with benefits at the Mapleton Center. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising and evaluating Member Services desk staff. The ideal candidate must possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, computer skills, and have the abilities to multitask and be organized. This individual is responsible for the smooth operation of friendly member service and program registration with everyone working toward a common goal of nurturing the relationships with our members. Ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, and strong written, verbal, interpersonal and relationship skills with staff and members. Customer Relations Specialist: Various PT shifts available beginning nowat the Mapleton Center. Hours include, but are not limited to, weekend days and evenings Must be reliable and trustworthy. Ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills, be outgoing, friendly and customer oriented. ICE
Learn To Skate Coordinator:
PT, 20-25 hours per week with the Arapahoe Ice Learn To Skate/Figure Skating program. This position has flexible hours during the week as well as on the weekends. Responsibilities include organizing, administering, and supervising program offerings, communicating with students, parents and coaches, and helping to increase program enrollment. Programs include introductory skating instruction as well as recreational figure skating. Successful candidate will be friendly, outgoing person with strong ability to relate to customers and staff of all ages. SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS
Year Round Full Time Director:
FT working at local Elementary School facilitating Before and After School Programming and full days when school is out during the school year and full time "FUN IN THE SUN" summer camp during summer months. Must have bachelor’s degree in related field and two years experience working with School age youth K-5th grade. Responsibilities include staff management, program development, budgeting, and community development. Position requires experience in these areas and an individual who can work fairly independently and can work in a fast paced, multi task environment. The School Age Program Department provides 12 before and after school programs, after school enrichment classes and 8 summer programs. Benefits included/salary negotiable depending on experience. Assistant Director: PT, before and after school, full days when school is out and full time in the "FUN IN THE SUN" summer for youth ages K-5th grade. Applicants must be committed to being a positive role model with youth. Job responsibilities include, ensuring a safe and challenging environment for the participants, support for family members & other staff, planning and implementing programming and developing positive relationships in the community. Applicants must be 21 and provide written verification of director qualifications in the State of Colorado (at least 2 yrs of college and 960 documented hours working with 5-10 year olds in a licensed program). Program Leaders/Group Leaders: PT, before and after school, full days when school is out and full time in the summer for youth ages K-5th grade. Applicants must be committed to being a positive role model with youth. Group Leaders will have responsibility for overseeing a specific age group and support staff. Job responsibilities include ensuring a safe and challenging environment for the participants, support for family members & other staff, implementing programming with OPPORTUNITIES FOR input into planning. Applicants must be 18 and provide written verification of at least 480 hours of experience working with school aged children (babysitting, scouts, church groups, etc…). Substitutes also needed. Enrichment Instructors: PT positions for individuals skilled in offering enrichment class instruction to school-aged children, grades K-5. Classes are offered once a week for 1 to 1 1/2 hours for a six week session, between the hours of 2:30-5:00pm. Candidates must have experience working with groups of children K-5th, education and experience in the class offered is required. Special Needs Program Leader: PT, working to serve the direct needs of youth (k-5th) with special needs, supporting them in integrating into our School Age Program. YOUTH SPORTS
Sports Officials:
The Youth Sports Department is looking for officials for our upcoming fall programs. Sports include soccer, football, basketball and baseball. We offer a fun and interactive environment with flexible hours. Games run Saturdays from 9:00-5:00. Positions are available in Boulder, Lafayette and Superior. Knowledge of sports is a must and experience is helpful but not required. Sports Sampler Staff: The Youth Sports Department is looking for staff to help teach our sports sampler classes. The series is designed to give preschoolers an introduction into sports in a fun and energetic environment. Positions are available M, T, W, Th at noon in Superior. Volunteer Coaches: The Youth Sports Department is looking for volunteer coaches and assistant coaches for our upcoming fall sports. We will have soccer, football, and baseball teams from pre-school – 7th grade. Coaches run one practice a week and have games on Saturday.
